EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH
Allan Vache Presents:
A Benny Goodman Centennial Tribute
A Benny Goodman Centennial Tribute honors a rich part of American musical history: the 1930s Hot Swing style of jazz playing and singing that Benny Goodman made famous. This uniquely American art form is as alive and vibrant today as it was then, and can be demonstrated and taught in educational settings as part of an outreach program for interested schools, presenters and promoters.
Using a combination of lecture, performance, master class and Q & A, the musicians from A Benny Goodman Centennial Tribute bring the hot swing style into the classroom and community, to share this exciting material with jazz fans and the general public alike. Outreach programs may be coordinated in conjunction with any Centennial Tribute concert, at any level: elementary, middle school, high school, college, university or higher education; for instrumental or choral music programs, or for both.
In addition, it is possible to include a group or groups of student performers of any age into the concert setting, by having them sing or play onstage with A Benny Goodman Centennial Tribute as part of the concert program. This is a great gift to the community for all concerned, helps create greater awareness of the show, and boosts attendance while offering students a great musical experience.
Ask about creating a specific educational outreach program for your concert and community setting when you book A Benny Goodman Centennial Tribute.
